Overview:
    The Y?ncáng is a custom variant of the Cicada 3F that became fully modified and equipped by
    late 3058. This modification was made to sacrifice some of the manoeuvrability and the
    long-range firepower for more short range damage. This variant also carries more armour than
    the standard 3F.

Capabilities:
    The Y?ncáng trades the one ER PPC and dual Medium Lasers for four Medium Pulse Lasers. The
    Pulse Lasers are mounted in the side torsos along with the Guardian ECM that is equipped in
    this mech. This custom mech as two and a half tons more armour than the original Cicada EF
    that it is based on.

Notable MechWarriors:
    Ashirion Xiao is the pilot of this one custom variant mech. He was born and raised in the
    Capellan Confederation while his mother was a Mercenary for a small upstart Merc Unit. He
    joined the Merc unit and over several years he slowly modified his cicada to fit more
    closely to his particular piloting style. He later inherited the Merc Unit from his mother
    and now is doing missions in the Periphery.
