================================================================================================
Overview:
The Hawk was built by Clan Wolverine designers from an unbuilt Star League design that was
discovered in an old Brian Cache on one of the Hidden Five worlds. It was originally slated
to be 80 tons with a slower operating speed, but with the availability of Clan Technology,
Clan Wolverine was not only able to increase the speed but to also lower it's base tonnage
to 75.
Capabilities:
When Clan wolverine found the original design it's maximum speed was a paltry 54 kph. Clan
Wolverine mounted a better engine and increased that to almost 65 kph and further added jump
jets ranging out to 120 meters.
The Hawk mounts as it's primary weapons two Ford 10 Class LB-x Autocannons. It mounts 20
total rounds for each gun, giving it the capability to carry either solid shot or the
dangerous cluster ammunition. For long range punch it features an Kaliyama ER Large Laser
and Two Deathgiver LRM 10 racks. While many mechwarriors deride the size of the Deathgiver,
they are paired with an advanced set of Artemis IV targeting systems to make sure that as
many of the missiles that are fired hit their target. For close in work and added in what
seems to be an afterthought the Hawk also mounts two Series 1xa ER Medium Lasers. The
design can run hot but if pilot keeps his eyes on the heat scale he should be fine.
Deployment:
So far only 3 prototypes and 1 production variant have walked off the lines. It is assumes
that the Hawk may become the next Omni-Mech design for Clan Wolverine as there have been
several weapons and design changes suggested by test pilots. The only production variant
has so far been issued to pilot Ingeborg Schmid of the 332 Battle Cluster.
Variants:
The first variant the model 5 replaces the Deathgivers with clan model Shannon 6 Shooter SRM
packs. These are also laved to the powerful Artemis IV targeting system.
Notable MechWarriors:
Ingeborg Schmid: A former Steiner warrior captured during a aid on a pirate band in what
used to be Rim Worlds Territory. She had been sent by the Lyran Intelligence Corp to
infiltrate the pirate band but when captured by the Wolverines the LIC denied all knowledge
of her. Apparently in the chaos of the civil war all records of hef had been lost.

Variants:
The first variant (4Rc) the model 5 replaces the Deathgivers with clan model Shannon 6
Shooter SRM packs. These are also slaved to the powerful Artemis IV targeting system.
The 5Rc variant was voiced by technicians who tried to alleviate the warriors' complaints
about the Deathgivers by removing them completely. However they replaced the most notable
feature of the Hawk with Quad Ultra 2 Autocannons...of the smallest class available. These
autocannons while they do have reach can only inflict minor damage upon battlemechs. The
pair of medium lasers were replaced by a further set of Kaliyama Er Large Lasers.
The next variant(6Rc) removes the missile racks all together and replace the Autocannons
with twin poland C Gauss rifles with plenty of ammunition. If the gauss rifles do run out
of ammunition this model has added 4 addition series1x Er Small lasers for close in knife
fighting.
Notable MechWarriors:
Ingeborg Schmid: A former Steiner warrior captured during a aid on a pirate band in what
used to be Rim Worlds Territory. She had been sent by the Lyran Intelligence Corp to
