Overview:
The Bronze was built to supplement the need for a cheap, reliable and easily maintained
combat command vehicle. The engineers designed it so that it was both tough to take down and
easy to repair. Much of the mech is done with easily obtained components. All the mechs
weapons can easily be replaced with battle field salvage, the armor
and internals was also done so that it could easily be replaced.
Capabilities:
Built on the same premise of the Battlemaster the Bronze was designed to be a command mech
for heavy lances. The mech has a variety of weapons to operate at any range.
The mechs DSC BlueBolt ppc mounted in the left arm is much like that of the Battlemasters.
The gun may be ejected if it is destroyed so that the pilot can make full use of the hand
assembly. The mechs other arm mounts its most advance weapon. The Blankenburg Large pulse
laser aptly complements the PPC and can easily justify its cost with destructive power. The
FarFire LRM 10 pack mounted on the mechs right shoulder give it some softening up power.
This weapon is usualy used while closing with a target. Many times two full salvos can be
fired before the mech closes to bring its large energy weapons to bear. For close in defense
the mech mounts two Kreiger standard Medium lasers. These help keep the heat generated by
the mech down and allows the pilot to worry more about, what to shoot next, than which
weapons he needs to not shoot to keep from shutting down.
The mechs twelve tons of DSC standard armor give it enough staying ability to see most
fights end.
Deployment:
A number of Bronze have gone to mercenary companies, while more prominent houses have also
made there interest in the unit know. Many will likely be going into the ranks of the SLDF
as field command vehicles.
