..but I thought I would share this with you..
We are going to be redrawing the Marauder II and the Longbow (yes its in the 3058, but we want to do them all over and doing properly!). So I thought I would share that with you all here.

Will we see mechs like the Battle Ax and original Vulcan, the Fire Bee and others like those redone or included?

Ok...like I said before in another thread it would be nice to see them again but it's not the end of the world if they are not there...
I take it the LAMs are out as well?

Yes. LAMs are will never be seen visually again in the BattleTech Univese.

Oh, I love you ever so much! Remember, I was the one in the original discussion who brought up the fact that despite, or, actually, because it was redrawn, the Lonbow looked CRAP!!!!!!
Warner, I'd need an important information - I'm not sure if it is classified, or something. But which versions of the Valkyrie, Shadowhawk and Battlemaster are going to be the standard Phoenix ones? I spend a LOT of my BT time converting and I was gonna do the S-Hawk D, Battlemaster S and the crazy fast Valkyrie. But I won't if any of them are the standard Phoenix variants. Any info would be greatly appreciated, but if classified, you've got my full understanding.
Oh yeah, which Maro II is the new standard one. The Rocket Launcher one? That would be ever so cool. The new art-work could be similar to the old one, simply because the weaponry is changed so much.

I recall hearing that very same thing about our REseen. 
But LAMS are an entirely different story I think

But you should hold off on ALL of them really...IIRC, Drew has already said that the minis will be released as poseable and that they would have the parts to alter them to the specific variant...

I would like to see more of the original 14 from the 3rd addition box set.
I'll tell you one thing Warner, if you can convince whomever is in charge to remake the Griffin, Shadowhawk and BattleMaster, I definitly think i can be convinced into buying some of the new FanPro stuff.
However, i'm still undecided on MechWarrior: Dark Age. Maybe its me, but nothing in it seems to be speaking to me as a campaign world. I've read a lot of your webpage, and its a nice story line, but at the same time, I just... don't get it I guess. Oh well, its me not you, so don't worry bout it.
Anyway yeah, you have two of my favs, but you need to get the last three redrawn! Go get em tiger.
Raven, who's first mech lance was an BattleMaster, Phoenix Hawk, Shadow Hawk and Griffen, he lost everyone but the Phoenix Hawk!

I really don't miss the LAMs. Never used them much when they were around. After Hardware abused me badly with one I decided that they didn't fit too well with the rest of the game.

They really don't fit the game at all, which is why I doubt anyone could convince TPTB that it would be good to bring them back.

they don't quite fit battletech, well at least 3025 battletech and fourth edition battletech......
why, simple....
the existing game system is outdated.

Even if they did a total revamp of the game system LAMS wouldn't return. They have such a bad reputation I doubt they could be salvaged.

Of all the times I have used them I never really had any bad experinces. Granted I didn't try to go toe to toe with other mechs, used them more like fast movers...I found them to be interesting and fun.
Though the damage rule and how that effected the other versions of the LAM could use some work...
