It feels good to be able to say that 2020 is almost over! And with the approaching end-of-year, it's time to push out one last round of updates. Details of what's included are as follows:
Defects- Fixed an issue with the Force Builder where non-latin characters were not properly being handled in the name and overview fields.
- Fixed an issue which occurred when designing a Mixed tech unit, where after adding an Inner Sphere version of equipment, the Clan version would auto-select in the equipment dropdown.
- Fixed an issue where the Watchdog CEWS was not properly listed as Standard as of 3085.
- Fixed the following issues when performing Alpha Strike conversion:
- The Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle did not have the FLAK special associated to it.
- The Indirect Fire (IF) special was improperly using the Artemis modified weapons damage for determining its value.
- Fixed the following issues when calculating the a unit's Battle Value:
- Explosive ammo and equipment placed in arms was incorrectly applied as a negative BV modifier for Clan tech units with Inner Sphere XL engines.
- Heat calculations for units with I-OS weapons was not being calculated properly, sometimes resulting in the unit being heat inefficient.
- The incorrect BV was being applied for Clan ER PPCs when equipped with a PCC capacitor.
- Chaff Pods were updated to be considered explosive for BV purposes.
- Anti-Battle Armor Pods were updated to be considered explosive for BV purposes.
- The calculation used for the BV of the Ram Plate was updated to use the correct formula (max charge damage / 2 * 1.1)
- Hyper-Velocity Autocannons were updated to only count as a max of one critical spot for explosive equipment purposes (e.g., a 2-crit HVAC/2 only has a -1 impact on the BV).
Design Changes- When downloading the units in your force in bulk, the generated file will now default to the name of your force.
- All weapons and equipment whose source reference was Tactical Operations have been updated to now reference the proper page in Tactical Operations: Advanced Units & Equipment.
- Modified the Save operation for units so instead of a dialog being presented which you have to click OK on to move beyond it, a message indicating the unit was saved successfully appears near the top pf the page and slowly fades away, therefore removing the need for a click.
Enhancements- A new Go To Readout button is presented when editing an existing unit, and will appear for new units once saved. This button will take you directly to that unit's Readout page.
- Added Improved SRMs, which became available in Interstellar Operations, as additional weapons which may be used under the proper conditions (Clan Experimental equipment).
