I like it.
Not going to win any offensives with this. But it makes for a handy semi mobile turret with decent for its size armor. A few of them in an area could help with area denial against light forces, and slow down heavier forces at least briefly. They also would help create "fly at your own risk" zones.
My suggestion would be to trade the small lasers for a machine gun or flamer for improved anti infantry capabilities.

And even out the armor on all facings. Its going to get flanked. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

I think it is pretty even. Even if I'd use a different pattern.
Bit extra on the front since "front towards enemy ." Turret has more then I'd traditionally use, but maybe they're thinking of using hull down rules. All other locations have enough to survive larger weapons excluding ac20s or a smattering of fire from medium scale weapons. Rear is also over armored for my usual standards. But in this case is tough enough to discourage manueving for the advantage of rear shots. Which might be a bad thing. The possibility of bait exists.
If I was going to do it differently I'd use 20 on front and sides. 10 on the rear and 15 on the turret.

If it was 2/3, i'd personally feel better with a Tank Destroyer style armor scheme. But at 1/2, you'll be harder pressed to keep the front faced at enemies.
However, I agree that the front/turret should get most armor, then sides, and then rear if keeping this layout style. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.
