Well, Sunday's the day I head away. I leave to go to Wienerpig (I mean Winnipeg), to join the 2nd Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Battle Group slated to go to Bosnia. I get to be second in command of lucky number 13 section in D Company. We then go to Fort Knox on the 3rd of November for training (doing outside things in a Canadian winter is for the birds, don'cha know!  )
So, anyhow, I'll be back here full time (atleast for Christmas), by December 17... or sooner if things go badly!
Anyhow, I'm busy getting things in order, so I'm going to log off, but, I just wanted to let everyone know what was up!

I don't think even the birds do stuff in the winter, at least all the smart Canadian Geese fly south through here.

Good luck.
On another note, I just graduated from Surface Warfare Officer's School: Division Officer's Course this morning. Just after Christmas I will report to my first ship, USS SHREVEPORT (LPD 12) down in lovely Norfolk, VA.
