Well, i sit here.... at 3 am. Thinking to myself, that i love anime and i wonder which is my favorite. Then i think to myself, why do i like certain ones while others don't? And this is what i've come up with...
What type of movie viewer are you?
the storyteller, you enjoy a good story above all else. you can forgive bad acting and poor filming if its got a kickass story.
the flashbang, you only enjoy a movie with good graphics and/or lots of explosions. you could care less that a 2 year old wrote the plot, lots of things went boom.
the meltingheart, your a true romantic. if its a love story you could care less if it was filmed thru a camcorder.
the brandnamest, to you it only about the big named actors. if the leading role isent a big named actor you won't watch it, as to you its not worthy of your eyes.
the nitpicker, you haven't liked a movie since you were six. you allways have to find fault with a movie, regardless of if its good or not. your never pleased, and you let everybody now during the movie.
the undecider, you just don't care... its there, it to be watched. there is no light or dark side, just movies.

I'd definitely have to go with the undecider. I watch 'em all, and for the most part, I could care less about poorly written plots. Although, for the record, never let chihawk pick out movies to watch. He has a bad track record at my house.

Flashbang with storytelling a close second and if you don't tell my wife I can enjoy a good romance now and then, though they are usually not my first choice. I can be nitpicky too, espeically if I have read the book and we all know Hollywood never follows those.

| well i voted flashbanger but i think they all apply to me depends on more on the individual movie a action movie with bad acting and a 400$ budget for S-FX is not a good movie even if it does have lots of m-80s and blank 22s..woohoo! good acting and a good script can make a low budget movie a hit though(b.w.p. comes to mind, but im not saying it had any of those things,i thought it sucked). A movie i can relate will also make me overlook alot of things or if it makes me laugh. i like all types of movies.

I enjoy the story, but I'm also something of a nitpicker. When I see a pre-civil war western where everybody is running around with REVOLVERS that use brass CARTRIDGES or carrying LEVER ACTION RIFLES it just sends me up the wall.
