For anyone in the area that's interested. I will holding a small tournament at the Wizard's Tower in Nashua, NH on Sat., Feb 8th. Info as follows:
Classic Battletech Tournament
February 8th, 2003
Wizard's Tower in Nashua, NH
Game Start Time is 10:30am (or whenever at least 2 players show up)
and will continue until closing (or when there's no one left to play)
Players will use 2 mechs.
Mechs must have been within a published FASA/FanPro book.
Level 2 InnerSphere only. Combined weight of mechs must not be more than 150 tons.

sounds very kewl. unfortunately I'm only able to get the one sat off this month (darn retail profession) which is going to be the 20th. which leads me to my next questions:
Shadowking: are you going to TotalCon?
Raven: have you worked out a way to get there?

ya. i think i'm going to totalcon, but i really don't know which games i want to do. Can't say i'm all that big on driving down there for more than 1 day, but i could be convinced to possibly

I'm darn lucky I'm even going to that!! My wife barely let's me out of her sight now with a 9 month old and being 5 months pregnant! I finally got to see LOTR: TTT just last week!

Shadowking, if you're attending more than 1 day, you could check with some of the guys on this board who are going. You might be able to split a room for the night with someone.

That was a thought. My wife shot that one down pretty quick. If she hadn't seen me put so much work into building, painting, computing and planning she probably would've shot down even Saturday. 
Oh, well. I am having a second boy. In 5 years I'll have them both rolling dice at the tables for the WHOLE con. And I'll really get my revenge when I take them to GenCon for our vacations!!!!!
