Now I also want to mention something about this project. I started the project and I had a handful of volunteers who are good with both 'Mech design as well as fiction writing. They have worked hard at putting this together. I have paid out of pocket for every penny of this project. We did this for the Mecha/Battletech Community at large, and so we appreciate your support. How often do projects like this come along?
The holidays are coming up - both the calendar or the posters would make a great gift. If you have Battletech or other Mecha venues coming up, use these as prizes! The Commandos are currently holding an event and I donated 2 Cricket posters for that to be used as prizes.
Finally, for official clarification, which was not done at the beginning of the public announcement of this project, WizKids has OKed this project. No copyrights are being infringed upon. WizKids has graciously allowed us to make this for the community and we appreciate their support in that. I must also mention other sites who have been supportive as well by posting news items and the like related to this:
MekTek, Bad Karma, Battletech Mod Productions, Mordels, and Valhalla
have posted news items on their page and we appreciate their support. We encourage any other Battletech or Mecha site to please do the same.
We want to do more projects like this, but we need your support to do it! So pick up your calendar and/or posters!
Feel free to PM me or email me if you have any more questions, at odysseus@battletechuniverse.org
