Fernando Alonso (Renault), with his victory in the Grand Prix of Hungary has become the first Spaniard to win a F1 race, and the youngest champion ever, at 22 years , 6 days, surpassing Bruce McLaren that won the US GP in 1959 at 22 years 3 months.
Alonso was the race leader for the entire 70 laps, and even lapped (doubled) Michael Schumacher (Ferrari), 8th.
Achtung Schumacher! Alonso comes for you!
EDIT: Ok, youngest champion ever so far was US Roy Ruttman at Indianapolis in 1952 at 22 years, 80 days

The entire race was freaking suprising to me! But yeah...Yaaaar for Alonso! he is gonna be a very dominant force next year!

It sure is nice to see some F1 where new things happen. There was a time when it seemed the only name was Schumacher, Schumacher, Schumacher.
