==Overview:==
When the Quickscell Defender first appeared, many scoffed within the ranks of
the LAAF. To them, it was a light helicopter with even lighter firepower; at
best an expensive toy.
This attitude changed rapidly when the Defenders first began to use the new
specialty AC munitions, proving how powerful a unit it could be in battle. And
the ability to easily reconfigure the weapons load left the LAAF at a tactical
disadvantage. A disadvantage made even worse by Quickscell's Weedwhacker,
HIND, and Kiowa units; the DCMS' Amaya, and Dragonfly; and even the TC's
Chickenhawk.
To help get themselves back on parity, the decision was made to start a crash
VTOL program of their own. The first entry in the competition was DefHes'
Gazelle. The Gazelle, with the now-popular tadpole shape, was designed as a
high-speed fire support unit. The Gazelle moves faster than the Defender, and
with the LRMs as its main armament has a similar range. The difference,
however, is that the Defender has far stronger armor.
While we have heard of no reports of the two units meeting in battle, it will
certainly be a test.
==Variants:==
Like the Defender, the Gazelle can have its weapons systems swapped out in the
field. It isn't as easy as the Defender's swapping system, but it still can be
done.

O.K. the armour is WAY too thin I know you want to keep it cheap so I will not suggest an engine change two things you can do 1)up grade the armour to FF that gains you 3 points 2)the C3 is a comm system not a sensor pack so you gain nothing by putting it on a mast mount.ditch that and you gain a half ton for additional armour gaining 8 points for standard or 9 for FF armour.Meaning by dropping the mast mount you have 32 points of armour 36 if you go with FF
