Place a Streak SRM6 on your mech, and load it with tandem charge missiles. If tandem charge is not compatible with streak, a regular one will do.
whay would a point of structural damage do the the elemental? I would assume he is definately out of the fight.

Good Idea. I will have to check to see if it would work. But I like.

I believe the Percentor Martial has already addressed this on the CBT site. Apparently when used against BA and infantry tandem charge warheads are treated the same as regular SRM's.

TC SRM ammo is BS. Anything that pentrates and avoids ammo is heritical to the game. SSRM 6s or any LBx Autocannon are real good elemental killers, along with a few ERML for some punch. But to really get rid of them...... artillery. All targets in the hex and neighborinh hex take damage.
AWAD- Artillery, King of the battlefield and still terror to infantry..... even if it has Battlearmor

I would rather just step on them and save my ammo for real warriors, we need rules for smooshing underfoot.

most excellent, an awesome idea.
what do you do for an encore a light fast as hell clan mech that carries a streak LRM 20 to force piloting rolls perhaps?

Streak LRMs are not level 2 so I don't worry about them

There was an improvised flail or fly swatter made out of powerlines or cable. It was fairly effective, not enough central mass to hurt a mech, but it would knock elementals off. _________________ Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side & a dark side, and strings also lie under it all.

Before they changed Thunder Munitions, you could leg pretty much any mech out there and leave them lying in the dust.
Casey and I proved that at one Simucon. I forget who it was that was there, but he saw what we did, and took the tactic to Gencon where Fasa saw it and changed the rules pretty quickly afterwards.
It was the simucon I showed up with almost $2 in pennies and no-one understood what was happening until I legged the first guy, and by then it was too late for them to do much about it.

I did like Thunder rounds a whole lot better before the revision. Of course they did make AMS worth having so it's a trade off.

Ams has no effect on thunder rounds because thunders affected the hex not the mech. Ams also has no effect on swarms either. sweet
