Overview
Designed by the Imperial Russian Air Force (IRAF) as a scout plane, the Pskov is meant to be able to fly long distances with little to no support and scout out enemy positions, return to the plane's temporary base of opperations and report. The Pskov has been a roaring success.
However, due to the nature of the design the IRAF has not had many built, and it should be interesting to see if any are built for foreign export.
Capabilities
In many cases, battles are determined by which side has the most intelligence, and the Pskov is designed to deliever that intelligence quickly, even when satilites and HQ's are knocked out, the Pskov can keep units in contact, or tell them where the enemy is. With a small fuel tank and almost nonexistent armor, the Pskov doesn't have much staying power, but then, it is not meant to do more then scout a direction and hurry back to base.
One variant removes the recon gear and replaces it with a passanger compartment. This plane is able to deliever messangers, in comfort, to units scattered across a wide area. This allows for secure communication even to units that are shattered and broken. Such practices were used by the Imperial Russian Ground Forces to regroup on the southern continent after Lyran forces broke them there during the FedCom Civil War. The inability of the Lyran forces to intercept the Pskov allowed it to keep units together and in contact, and allowed the Marshals to plan a counter attack which was later credited with breaking Lyran resistence around their LZ.

Currently the Pskov is only deployed with the IRAF, though House Marik has expressed an interest in the light scout plane.
