This machine is Designed to Support Other Scorpions in the Field. It is heat Efficient until the enimey comes within its close Range, then the Enimey gets a taste of Mental Warfare, as they Expect the Shoulder housing to launch missles of some kind... they eat Laser Fire. If Enemy infantry gets behind this scorpion it is Not Defenceless, its 3 rear firing small lasers are there to help protect is vulnerable facing.
Some people consider the drop in speed a Critical Compromise, but in reality the "Wounded Scorpion" gets faster as the Myomers heat up. That is why they are there. If the Enemy gets close enough for the Lasers to be used, its time to use some Aces in the card game. The Burst of speed isn't quite a supprise, but the gauss And the speed can be a nice suprise in your favor.
The way the Clans think of most Spheroid Mechs, this will make them think... at least they will not expect this Mech to MOVE when it counts.
