Greetings. I didn't know this site was here until I really began to search... of all things I was looking for an Urbanmech, hehe, and I came across this site, particularly the CCG section.
Now, I'm a relatively friendly guy and I love to cruise forums, but I have so many I'm not sure I'll get to any of them very often. Sorry about that ahead of time.
Now, I would like to introduce this part of the community to a project I've been working on recently known as Argent Fire, which is an E-Zine of the whole BattleTech Community. I am advertising this ONE time, not spamming, and this E-Zine is completely not for profit. This caution is here because I've received flak from some very uptight communities, particularly CBT. I believe they finally decided to let the ad stay, but I will, more likely than not, not be advertising there again. If that's the way this community also feels, then I am very sorry but you're going to miss out on something I think is very good and you will also be shunning the rest of the community. Thank you.
Argent Fire is dedicated to the BattleTech Community as a whole, including the table-top version of the tactical simulation game as well as the on-line versions of it, including the MechWarrior and Mech Commander series of games as well as the MODs.
If you would like to find out some things about this E-Zine, please go to http://www.wolvesau.net/ArgentFire . This E-Zine is free to the public and we're looking forward to receiving your submissions of art, articles, and stories set in the BattleTech universe in general. This E-Zine is not for the old or the young exclusively, but for anyone who likes to read and enjoys good articles. Oh, and keep looking, [size=10]YOUR WEB PAGE[/size] may be listed in our Resource/Unit Directory. If it's not, drop us a line and we'll fix that.
Argent Fire does have a new subscription service available for you, which is designed to bring you news concerning the status of the E-Zine as well as when new issues come out, such as Issue 3 which has just been uploaded. We at AF ask you for your patience when downloading these because they are large in size. Without the money to afford Adobe's PDF conversion service on-line($9.95/month) we have had to go with an alternate PDF convertor, so the quality isn't as good as standard adobe PDFs and the size is greater, but these are well worth the download time.
If you wish to subscribe to Argent Fire's mailing list, please send an email with your name and the word Subscribe to argentfire@wolvesau.net and we'll put you on the list manually.

We don't mind BattleTech related announcements. Things related to new sites and stuff that would help or contribute to the battletech community are always welcome here. This site along with all the others out there is what makes up the online community. So additions to it are always welcome.
My only comment would be that these things should always be published to the news and headlines forum.

I thought everything had to be dedicated to me. Or atleast the good, hardworking Mercenaries who keep the universe de-stabilized to provide work for other hardworking Mercenaries... like me!

And then there's clan Rabid Squirrel, Hungry Badger and Doom Munchkin. The silly names never end. They might not have to suffer (very much) from the physical effects of inbreeding, but I think the mental issues have been there for a long time already.
