Wondering what everyones favorite heavy mech tonnage is, for purposes of playing with canon designs.

For myself in this category I choose 75 tons, all my favorite heavies are here, most notably the Marauder and Timber Wolf A

I voted for the 70 ton group. My first heavy piloted and the longest lived mech I've piloted was the Archer. Long campaign and it actually died of age. heh heh Long story....
Anyhoo.. So 70 tons is my choice. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

I prefer 75 tons. All the other weight classes in heavy are a waste of potential, IMO.

I'm going to be different for the sake of being different, and go with 65 tons. In 3025, there is no heavy 'mech which a Thunderbolt cannot kill...and a good deal of assault 'mechs with a good deal to worry about from a Thunderbolt as well. Not too bad for a "light" heavy 'mech.

What Mud? You didn"t pick the Marauder? Do you have fever.. or you feeling faint?
It is a toss up for me. I would pick both 70 and 75 tons for the Warhammer and the Marauder. Ahh, the choices......

It's a toss up between 70 and 75. I like to use the Thunder and the Penetrator....

Currently it's 60. I'm very fond of the Ostsol 6D and Rifleman 6X at the moment. That could change at any time, but for the moment the answer is 60.

Considering most peoples favorite heavies are marauders, orions, mad cats and such this is no surprise that 70 and 75 got so many votes. My surprise here was in 65 tons, I think they royaly suck

Funny thing happened the other day; I killed a Thunderbolt with a Rifleman...got him with a head shot, which knocked the pilot out, then the next turn the t-bolt pilot fails the consciousness check, I hammer the T-bolt with everything the rifleman has for 26 damage, forcing the Thunderbolt to fall as the pilot can't make a pilot check. The t-bolt falls off of a level one and right onto it's head, destroying the remaining internal structure. Sweetest kill i ever got with a rifleman.
