to buy an elemental star,I could buy
1 atlas and 1 victor..3025
Or a company of locust and save c-bill too.
25 elemental are 17.500.000 c-bill.

On the other hand... Elementals require much less support in the form of technicians, spare parts, repair facilities and security. They ARE the security!
Just think about what you'll do with them before buying. In a campaign they're worth more than in a one-shot battle.

I could see five points of elementals bringing down an Atlas and a Victor, so long as the elementals were smart and kept to cover until they closed to swarming range.

You are right,and I think in a 3D contest
if I could spread out the single BA
(like a infantry rule)they 'll give many trouble
at the king of battlefield.
I prepare my minis like.
Each BA with a base .So they should be
a single target.

And it also assumes the pilot is a green pilot. I think if the pilot is Eliter or possibly even Veteran, the elemntals have no chance. Especially since the pilot will sit somewhere where the elemntals HAVE to cross open terrain and then toast them on the way in.

Hide the elementals; there are few things I like more in a game than when a player realizes his super-speedy clan light 'mech is going to get fired on with a 5+ to-hit number by some hidden infantry
