It will came convention and reading
both manual rule I saw things getting
similarly.
i had played AT long time ago and never
play AT2.
I need some input now and some suggestion.
I don't know if I will play with some veteran,
and I will take in count presence of newbie.
There are congruence beetwen rules?
I got an ample choiche of fighter also.
theatre of battle?
Marik\steiner,marik\liao,liao\davion,davion
kurita ect.
Any imput welcome

Sorry, can't help you there. I have only played AT or used aerospace assets for planetary assaults (attackers and defenders) and ground attack.

I think we play Aerotech once in college. We were more into the mech stuff, so we never used them in mixed forces even.

Ive got the old BattleSpace stuff, but havent looked into AT2. All I know about AT is the stuff that was in the old Compendium...and even that left me more than a bit Dazed and confeared.....

I have the old AT box set and have played it long time ago. Lost interest in it as I preferred the ground game. Spent too much time calculating fuel costs for movement and lost interest.
Choose a fighter with plenty of fuel!!! Not kidding, unless they changed the rules on fuel consumption. And I liked the fighters with weapons that gave you many hit locations...i.e. SRM's LRM"s LBX's, Cockpit crits are horrible in space.

O.K. I think I understand your question I have played some AT2 .There are a number of differances between the two rule sets including but not limited to determination of critical hits,fuel usage...fuel goes much farther in AT2,Straffing...the area covered is much smaller in AT2. Also there are differances in turns and other manouvers.

the point is that I would have need of direct testimonies. Reading to regulations x l'ennesima time I have found that at least 3 types of maps are needed(spce , atmosphere, ground-18000 meters to zero)
I saw range weapon simplified,there's no mentioning about fuel consumption.
I got ready almost painted 2 trasgressor
2 transit 3 cheetah 1 trush.for a total of
1 wing.
I will paint some davion stuff.
