The title pretty much says it. We had polls over uniforms, now let's see wich faction has the most impressive ranks and coolest rank insignia, or at least wich ones are the most liked.

I've excluded the Clans because there are too many, but feel free to name your favorite clan if you are into it.
Also, name the rank you like the most , either by the way it sounds, or because you feel most identified with it, or think most impressive, and no "First Lord of the Star League" doesn't count  though "Precentor Martial" would.

I am forced to admit that the DCMS rank insignia are the best-looking. They also have the coolest rank, the Warlord. What more do you need to be called?

Well, "General of the Armies" sounds pretty impressive too, and I like the "Steiner cross" insignia a lot.
Just to clarify, the poll is about 3025 ranks, so you can pick Oriente or Andurien ranks in the FWL, and don't mix Davion and Steiner ranks.

| Hmm... the ranks of the 5 main houses always seemed well thought out to me and I like them all... I'll vote for the FWLM, the simple purple officer stripes seem simple and effective. I also like the AFFS and LCAF ones, though there seem to be too many Lyran ranks...

I have to agree with you on that. Their Colonel is cool... I mean a Skull over crossbones! Who wouldn't want to have that on their uniform!

| As for as names of a rank go, I always thought the AFFS Leftenant instead of Lieutenant sounded cool. The Steiner Hauptman also adds a bit of germanic charecter.

As a DC fan myself I think they have the coolest uniforms, and the second best insignia. For just look, the Taurians have it, i mean a bull on the lapel just rocks.
