==Overview:==
The Apache attack/recon helicopter series have been one of the most
popular and successful helicopters in history. Originally starting in the mid
90's the look of the Apache has gone generally unchanged since it was
introduced some eleven hundred years ago, getting upgrades in both weapons and
missile systems the Apache has been reintroduced as an alternative to light
scout mechs. Although the hefty price tag indicates that many of them will be
bought by high class units the Apache has already proven it's self in several
battles.
==Capabilities:==
Capable of moving as fast as most light mechs the Apache has proven that
it can outdistance its Mech scout counterparts as it doesn't have to worry
about terrain features that can slow down mechs. The Apache mounts a large
laser in a chin turret that is tied to the helmet display of the pilot,
(another through back to the ancient terra design) and a pair of SRM 4's help
to round out the weaponry with a ton of ammo. Nose mounted is a Recon camera
to help the pilot and second pilot with target acquisition. 4 Hard points can
be found on the "wing" portions of the helicopter (these were used to
devastating effect during a battle on Solaris against a Simian horde). Mast
mounted the Apache actually resembles an old "Longbow" recon Helicopter.
Mounted in the mast is a Bloodhound active probe, with the longer range then
the Beagle and added detection capabilities the Apache can stay out of harm's
way and help to direct the main fighting group.
==Battle History:==
Having seen extensive battle now on a couple different occasions, the
Apache has proven it's self to be a capable Helicopter. During the "Battle for
Montenegro" on Solaris the apaches proved to be quite capable at stalling
advances by the Simian's that attacked the planet. Using Inferno loads and
under slung bombs the Apaches raced into battle and bought the defenders the
time needed to set up at first hasty defenses on the outskirts of Montenegro.
Laying patterns of napalm on the simians the Apaches were able to hold
and with the help of the planetary militia and the Stable owners of Solaris
and assorted Merc units they were able to drive the simians back and
eventually drive them off planet. Although 5 of the Apaches were eventually
lost they loitered in the battle field assisting as best as they could. It is
rumored that as the battles wound down the apaches started to assist in the
rescue efforts by ferrying wounded to the local hospitals and by ferrying
supplies around the city.
On Babeski the Jade Falcons sent in a Trinary raiding force which met
heavy resistance from the 4th Davion guards which were garrisoning the world
(and also on R&R at the time), when the raid stalled the Jade Falcons called
in a second trinary consisting of 1 star of scout mechs and 2 points of
elementals. The guards countered by dispatching a harassing force of 1 lance
of the new Apache helicopters. The harassing force used superior speed and
concentrated firepower to bring down the elementals at range and soften up the
mechs as they drew them into a nearby swamp. As the Falcon mechs were mired in
the swamp the Apaches used their superior mobility to finish off 2 machines
and heavily damage 2 more. The remaining mechs and elementals withdrew and the
raid was blunted.
==Variants:==
"NAIS Weapons LLC" will open later than expected and will be supplying
much of the Federated Suns with the Inner Sphere equivalent of Clan weapons.
The Apache is already slated to get several weapons modifications with the new
weapons.
Several have been spotted in vehicle lances in the Kuritan military.
Rumor has it they have lightened the armor and added a new experimental
missile system replacing the SRM 4 with this system and the new Missile and 2
heady rocket launchers. To help accommodate the new systems the Large Laser
was removed and replaced with a pair of ER Medium lasers.
==Notable 'Mechs & MechWarriors:==
Devlin "Stinger" De'Rail Pilot - Lyddia " RIO" Ravenheart - Knights of
Chaos During the "Battle of Montenegro" as it has been become known the
Knights of Chaos, and many of the other patrons of Mordel's Bar and Grill were
amongst the first defenders of the city. Devlin lead his Attack helicopters in
the defense armed with Napalm Bombs. Devlin accounted for several vehicles and
Mechs and more Simian infantry than can be accurately counted.
Thomas "Scales" McBride - Johnathan "Paddy" Walters - 4th Davion guards
posted on the Jade Falcon border. Tom and Jon lead their Chopper lance against
a star of Jade falcon scout mechs and 2 starts of elementals that had flanked
the main body of the guard's staying at long range and luring the Clan units
into the swamp the lance of faster moving helicopters was able to dispatch 2
of the machines and heavily damage 2 more as they drove them back to the Clan
drop ship. Tom and Jon had both kill shots on the mechs and 3 elementals in
the battle.
==Deployment==
Currently deployed with several Front line units and a couple Mercenary
units, the Apache is expected to go into full production late in 3061.

is this using my lancer missiles?
if so then you have to many missiles per ton of ammo, and there seems to be several other discrepancies that i cannot point out as of yet.

Woops didnt realize the ammo thing..
There are a few differences with the BV and WV I couldnt get them to add up the same. (mine are at 148 or something like that.) Other than that I thought I got everything the same not sure though.
