The whole point of this design is that it doesn't have to stand toe to toe with an atlas or daishi.

Have to agree, the Gladiator is one of the rare assault mechs that can actually perform hit and run attacks. Kinda scary if you think about it.

Point,
I just thought along the lines of the idea that a mech which was deemed unstoppable would be a real behemoth bristling with big guns, (like the Daishi)
I've never realy liked the Gladiator myself, I love the artwork and how it looks, just doesn't seem to fit with the role IMO.
I was really suprised and Dissapointed with the way it looks in MW4 Mercs, i was looking forward to seeing its almost Atlas style head. Shame,
