Anyone ever heard of Life Savers Gummis?
If you check the candy aisle at your grocery store, you should see big bags of them. Each bag has a bunch of little packs of the gummis; each pack has a small plastic tray which the gummis sit in while they're in the packaging.
Each one of the trays takes up two hexes, and with a little imagination and a bit of paint can be turned into pre-fab structures or small rises that you can stick on your mapsheets.
