I got it this morning, via mail! Ended up paying € 35,03 for it, almost 30 bucks. But you know what? It is worth it!
Putting rest to a fear a lot of us had: At least when comparing it to TRO: 3060, the fluff texts are much better. And so are the illustrations, despite being of a similar style. You want to know a funny thing? I don't know what CBT was thinking, but all the previews they gave us of new designs - well they chose the crappiest 'mechs of the lot. Art is, with the exception of your usual half-dozen or so (the previewed Spirit being the worst perpetrator on the clan side!!!), really good.
My pick of the bunch: BOWMAN all the way (despite the legs being....ok - 3 major good points: Torso and arms look good, archaic; it does something that is truly new [apart from that one Thunderhawk mod]: It's an Arrow IV 'Mech with a GOOD secondary punch; and most significantly: It is the closest thing to an Archer IIC that we will EVER see!). Also good: the Mechwarrior IV 'mechs. They look really SWEET, each one of them. And the Argus actually really IS a very fine machine, despite XL-engine and all.
Man, I would LOVE to ramble on about each and every 'Mech. Anyone interested / up for discussions? If so, let the fun begin!! _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

One more thing that I would like to air before any real discussion starts: WHY DID THEY HAVE TO F*** MY CLAN?!?! The Jade Falcons have two 2nd line 'mechs, that's it. The Spirit and the Pinion. These are THE 2 worst Clan 'mechs in the book. Period. WHY OH WHY?!?!? Give me a Bane (Kraken) or a Howler (Baboon) over these two POS anyday!!
At least the Bowman is a Hell's Horses 'mech (my close 2nd favourite Clan).

OH WHAN!! It is about time the Falcons and the Wolfs shared the limelight with the other clans.
(I have to agree though, I guess Marthe is to busy with Vlad to think about the junk piles they or putting out.)

So, no-one up for any discussions on this, the new BT TRO?!? Doesn't anyone apart from ICER have it yet? And even then, aren't there ANY questions to be asked? _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

Mordel and I both got copies Friday, but I haven't had time to give it anything more than a quick glance.

I haven't even had time to check, but I don't think any local stores will have it. I probably won't be getting mine for a while.

Well, I just picked up my copy of 3067. I am still formulating an opinion of it, as I have yet to look over the aerospace fighters or dropships. But just from looking at the mechs and vehicles I can say that it is a good investment if you want more units to play with. However, it does have some problems.
First I'll complain about what I don't like. Quite frankly, most of the inner sphere mech designs kinda suck. Most are burdened with XL engines and have poor weapon selection. Heck, a few combine mechs even have lame swords. There are a couple of mechs that stand out, most notabley the Uziel and the Legacy, but otherwise I feel they are lacking. Maybe it is just that the IS mechs are plagued by crappy artwork.
I also have a problem with how the wobbies are suddenly busting mechs out of their arse that use technology such as Fed Suns TC's and Lyran light engines. I see where this is going and I do not like WoB's rise to power.
Now for the good stuff.
The clan mechs are almost completely opposite of the IS mechs. The vast majority of them kick butt. Like jymset I am impressed with the Bowman. The Hellion, Lobo, and Rabid Coyote are also some of my top picks. Of course, the award for coolest mech has to go to the Mad Cat MK II (although the explanation of how they ended up in the IS was kind of weak). Of course, maybe it was just that the artwork for the clan mechs is pretty darn good.
I also like the vehicles for both sides. The IS really needs some new blood in their vehicle lines, and the RAC5-toting machines help a lot. It's also good to see some new vehicles or the clans.
Overall I say FanPro did a good job on TRO 3067.
