Or should it decrease with the coming changes to the BT universe?
Could it come down to a war between the Home Clans and the Invasion Clans? With one side trying to gain a foot hold in the Inner Sphere and the other defending their holdings?

I think that it will depend on the clan. Wardens may fight a bit more just in case they are needed to protect the sphere. The Crusaders may fight more in case the invasion is started back up. Past that, each clan will have to decide whether or not to fight. Some will fight to gain space/equipment/bloodlines or just to stay sharp. Others will choose not to fight since they believe that they no longer have chance to invade/protect the sphere.

I see the fighting slowing down as the new order is established in the Kerensky cluster with the leaving of the Bears and Cats and the return of the Vipers.
This is not true from the Inner Sphere as I expect both Vlad and Marthe to launch attacks in the near future, if nothing else to blood new warriors. It would also appear that the Horses are in the Sphere to stay.

I hope it will increase. Peace in the Inner Sphere just isn't good for business.
I would like to see the Clans whittle themselves down anyway just to lower their signficance in the univers. Then we could get back to some more inter-house battles a la the Succession Wars.

The commando I talk to (I'm not sure where he gets his info) said there is a civil war coming up within the clans but other than that he had no details. I can see it happening.
Oh yeah, we Falcons of course will be ready. |

Could the hinted at Civil War have something to do with the Falcon's Warrior breeding program?
Last I recall it wasn't what you would call on par with the current thinking of the Clans...
Anyone have ideas on this side note?

I doubt it as even the Vipers are taking Freebirths as warriors now. The picture given is that the Clans are rethinking alot of things since their run-in with the Inner Sphere.

I was refering to the genetic thing with warriors in the cryochamer things...was in one of the Falcon books with Horse...the JF sciencist were mixing genes and such to get better warrior without letting the Clan know...like genes from the Jags etc...into the Falcon set without orders etc...
One would think that would really cause a stir among the other Clans especially the Home Clans.

It was not just the Falcon scientists, Horse found things in the Smoked Kitties as well. It is a plot by all clan scientists no matter their clan linkages.
