Some of you might not know the name, but chances are most of seen the scene she's most famous for...at the time (and really even today), many, including the actress herself, found it so terrifying that they forever after had troubles taking showers...
Yes, Norman's victim in the original Psycho has now really become Death's victim...she was 77, and is said to have died peacefully with her family beside her...

She was also in the original "Manchurian Candidate" opposite Frank Sinatra. An excellent actress who could play everything from the manipulative secretary to the motherly figure to the terrified victim. Modern actresses should follow her lead.
Rest well, you and your kind will be sorely missed by movie lovers across the world. _________________ "Politics is the Art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, misdiagnosing the problem, and applying the wrong solution."
