Not sure if this should be in the saloon or not, but I thought it was pretty funny satire.

Don't insult the hicks too much.
They're ancestry is solid Scot's Irish, and as any good Brit (yes, even the English will admit this), the Scots once ruled the world.
Not to mention most of these people probably want to declare the day the "assault weapons ban" expired a national holiday.
Not that there's anything wrong with that... _________________ "Politics is the Art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, misdiagnosing the problem, and applying the wrong solution."

The ban wasn't even doing anything, what's there to celebrate?

| Our point exactly it was a piece of "feel good' legeslation that had zero effect on the gun crime problem and did nothing other than distract attention from solving the REAL reasons for crime and was an attempt to push a political agenda under the disguise of crime controll. It will not be reinstated because it accomplished nothing. I say good ridance and hopefully we can now have some legeslation that will actualy go after the real criminals and not make trouble for the law abiding citizen.
