I'm not sure if this is common knowledge or not: But it looks like the unseens may make a reappearance: If you look at the official BV chart on ClassicBattleTech, it has a huge bunch of new variations for the unseens, all listed as TRO:3067!
What do you think?

The mechs won't be in the TRO as since they still can't use the pictures. BUT in the RS:3067 they will be there.

You can try and scrounge up a first printing of 3025 and 3050...or you can learn what pictures they used (NOTE: A lot are from Macross/Robotech) and look them up that way.

Specifically, all the Destroids and Veritechs from the Macross aspect. Also, look out for the Crab Gunner and Tequila Gunner. In addition, there are two fighters, a boulbous-looking mecha, and the "Minerva" from "Crusher Joe". Also, look for the Dougram and three other units from "Fang of the Sun Dougram." Hit up Ruger for the exact names they go by in those series; I haven't seen any of them.

To CampingCarl: Yes, we're talking about a 100 ton Marauder IIC here. I know and actually totally love my two Marauder IIs (the 3025 variant is THE deadliest 'mech of the era, better than even the Imp or King Crab [the latter is not a joke - the KC is routinely one of the deadliest 'mechs in our games]).
To pinkfloyd214 - In case your are uniniciated, here is a list of the 'mechs' names (with tonnage in brackets). The original 14 that came in BT 2&3rd eds: Locust (20), Stinger (20), Wasp (20), Phoenix Hawk (45), Griffin (55), Shadowhawk (55), Wolverine (55), Rifleman (60), Crusader (65), Thunderbolt (65), Archer (70), Warhammer (70), Marauder (75), Battlemaster (85). Then there were 6 more 'mechs in the original TRO: 3025: Valkyrie (30), Ostscout (35), Scorpion (55), Ostroc (60), Ostsol (60), Goliath (80). Finally, one other 'mech that disappeared was the Longbow (85). Published only in Fanzines and Scenario-books in the English-speaking parts of the World. Germany had it officially included in TRO:3031 (ie: TRO:3026).
Any IIC variants (all in TRO:3055) of these are now also unseen (though they could've continued the use of those original illustrations, there wasn't much of a point, was there?).
I don't know of a website with the images off the top of my head, but I really enjoy Dave Fanjoy's miniatures site, he'd have pics of all of these. Heck, he even has pictures of Battledroids, which make the Unseen seem like your everyday 'mech!!

There is also Patrick's BT archive. He has pics of all of them (albeit the crappy 3050 version of them - they don't look half as cool as the 3025 originals - but you will get the general picture). _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

That is just wrong. I have always hated the IICs.

The PHawk IIC blew goats for quarters, but I really like the Griffen IIC.
You know, I can deal with the initial descision to toss the Unseen and pretend they don't exist anymore, but by now, surely the pinheads that drove Fasa into the ground and are in charge of CBT have to see that there is a definate interest for these mechs.
I juust don't understand why they flat out refuse to redraw them and release them.

In all the years since they because "unseen" I have never received a satisfactory answer to that question.

They did redraw them for the Japanese release of battletech and they looked very cool. I've got some of them posted at:
