I said no. Why? Because I've little to no knowledge of the various battlearmor suits and don't pilot them. I like to punnt them with my Mech and watch them tumble end over end out of sight.

Not really..
Too lightly armoured, too lightly armed.

It's flashy in its movement and may just be about the only battlearmour that can keep up with mechs but isn't really able to take any punishment or dish it out..

Standard suits all the way. They're simple, tough and plentiful.

Now, I don't usually do this, and please censor me, if you feel it is necessary, chihawk. But look at Seraph. He is an ancient member of this wonderful community. By telling us of his own views, he is telling us, the members of this community something. It would be different if he was a newcomer, like.... YOU! Welcome, by the way. But, I'm all up in arms about this, I don't really appreciate it. Define "useless posts" anyway. Even if Seraph had put in "Sylph" somewhere, it would have been a negation of above poll. It would have given you the same result. But he chose to make it known on a more general basis, giving the same answer, but letting us know more about his playing habits. So, really, the only time that was wasted, were my last 2 minutes that I used on replying to your post!

On to the question.... I voted no on the Sylph. It is made out to be an agressive suit. And I did try it - as with all the other Clan suits. The Undine is very different and clever, I like the long reach and the unexpected underwater capabilities. The Gnome is very brutal but also one-dimensional. The Salamander is sooooo beautiful. It really fills a role very different to the standard suit and can be exceedingly dangerous. That one is my favourite.
But the Sylph.... If it only had one more point of armour.... But the inability to survive a single Clan medium laser hit (of either types), makes it nigh-on useless. I tried carefully maneouvering a point of these into any sort of useful position. They were caught at long range by a Night Gyr A. Bye-bye, whole point.... Once again: definitely the most useless of the five Clan suits.

I think Jymset just saved me 2 minutes.
