1) An annihilator without a long ranged weapon is a sitting duck.
2) My mech is has sufficient dhs for all 4 RACs all in hex mode or 3 RAC2 + ERL
3) There is no more free slots on the mech left. Removing the ERLarge aint gonna help the mech anymore. If u only have 5 tons left to spare and 2 slots what ya do ?
4) i wasnt thinking when i threw in the C3 slave. On hindsight i was supposed to give the mech a flamer.
More comments please

Why is having the C3 a problem?

isnt the C3 system developed by House Kurita ?
Given that Jaime Wolf had a long running feud with the Combine after Misery in 3034, its unlikely they will use tech developed by the Dragons.

He's got a point there vagabond.
However, i should note that the Dragoons are also known for being rather flexible. If they think that C3 can benefit them, this could be useful as a test bed platform.

Actually, he dosen't.
as per the TROs:
Quote:
| C3 Command Units
Type Manufacturing Site
Kallon Sure-Shot C3-MU Nanking / FS (KI)
Matabushi Coordinator Luthien / DC (MCE)
C3 Slave Units
Type Manufacturing Site
Kallon Sure-Shot C3-SU Nanking / FS (KI)
Loyalty / FWL (KI)
Matabushi Citizen Luthien / DC (MCE) |
|
Units deployed on:
Quote:
| Kallon Industries
Partisan (Tracked Vehicle) - "Nanking" variant
Partisan-CC - "Company Command" (Tracked Vehicle)
Partisan-LC - "Lance Command" (Tracked Vehicle) |
|
Meaning the often thought misconception that only the DC has and uses C3 is incorrect. These partisan variants are deployed though out the inner sphere and are equiped with C3 slaves and Masters.
Only a little reverse engineering would be required for ever IS faction to start production. Despite that anyway, Dragoons and the FS have a very close relation ship. Contracts could quickly be arranged.

I think he meant the developing.. not the manufacturing.
I personally think C3 should be use more frequently. Of course, there is a competing standard, but its kinda needs six mech units.

Actually now i noticed, the Er LL and the RACs don't have much difference in range.
RAC/2:
6/12/18
ER LL:
7/14/19
So it's not really the long range of the ER LL...

Ok i did mention earlier, what would u do if "u only have 5 tons left and 2 slots left"
The ERL might not look like a super long range punch but its range complements the RAC-2s well and can serve as another biter if one RAC fails.
Thats why this design has enough DHS for the Anni to fire either all 4 RAC-2s in Hex mode or 3 RAC-2s in Hex mode and the ERL.
