And watch your langage here. It is a family board after all.
But you do not like the design? Why? tell me how to make it better.

I think it's great as an IS vechicle, I just was commenting that it still amazes me that IS construction is just that much weaker than Clan.

My problems with it:
Too slow...this vehicle will be dead in no time; it's going to be way to easy to hit it.
Weapons aren't "large" enough...you don't do enough damage to be a real threat to anything.
Too much armor...under level 2 rules there's a good chance you'll be dead long before your armor is breeched so that's a lot of wasted weight.
Stats don't match it's "declared" use...it's too slow to keep up with quicker units, and many of those quicker units will have weapons that are more of a threat than this one has.

Explain? That is alot of armor to go through. Is not the armor on a vehicle treated the same as the armor of a mech?
If so. This thing can take alot of fire before falling.
But I agree. It is way to slow. But this is my first one. I remember the frist mech i designed. A 20 tonner with nothing but small
lasers. And I mean nothing. I forgot to add armor to it. And a cockpit. Thank goodness for design programs. I suck at math.....HHHMMMMM? maybe I am playing the wrong game here.

It is a lot of armor, but check out the hit location chart for vehicles. A hit location of 3 turns it into a pill box, and a hit location of 11 freezes that turret.
I know that the odds of getting a 3 and 11 are supposed to be slim (I think it works out to 6 in 36), but for some reason the odds never seem to run true on the battlefield.
Just think of how many 2s and 12s are rolled in a battle to know that odds don't matter.

That is pretty bad, No wonder nobody plays vehicles. With odds like those. Who would.

There are optional rules in MaxTech for vehicles. I have never used them, but others say that they work quite well and give vehicles a fighting chance.
Although I've always believed that mechs are supposed to be "Kings of the Battlefield", so I don't really have any issue with the standard vehicle combat rules in level 2.
