8.5 tons gives it 136 points of protection.
9 tons gives it 137 points of protection

So i rather pull that 1 point away and get another ER small laser to add on to the barrage.

chock that up to my math. I had just designed a 65 tonner last weekend and I was trying to guess at the max tonnage for the armor. I still like the mech though. Just wish I could fire more of the stuff without getting so hot. (then again you can't have everything.)
