Hi Talen (and other readers):
I was just catching up on old posts, especially the gaming-related threads, which I had, well, NEVER looked into. On Feb. 5th you posted a message to do with Camille, Cadet and Karagin's almost-flame-war. You ended your message with: " calm down and listen to some Yo-Yo Ma"
All I can say is: Too cool, man! The first time that I've seen anyone mention this very neglected breed of musician: the cellist. For this I thank you openly and publicly!!
Just out of interest: Do you know of Ma by the way of a) Classical Music, b) Cello Music, c) some of the more modern stuff he's known for, or d) the film music he frequently contributes to?

Talen is away in England for a week or so. But I can tell you his taste for music is really off the wall. But I think it is the classic verison

I first heard Yo Yo Ma in CTHD. After that movie I made it a point to look for his stuff. The other stuff of his I know is from his Cello works. I have a few classical pieces as well, but I mostly know his solo stuff.
