I'm curious. I've played DS 1 and the expansion, and was wondering if anyone has played DS 2. I'm curious as to everyone's take on it.

It's a much deeper experience than the kill-machine DS1. You have several different branches of each skill tree (Melee, Ranged, Combat Magic, and Nature Magic).
For example, you can turn your melee fighter into a shield-bearing knight, a double-wielding swordsman, or a two-handed brawler.
I like it very much.

Sounds slick. I'll pick it up on pay day. Thanks.

I bought DS2 just before I had to run from the hurricane, but since I took the comp with me I got to spend a week in a lubbock hotel room watching the news channel and playing Dungeon Seige 2. The story is decent and the special abilities can really come in handy. Its worth the money.
Though making your own enchanted weapons is neat, once you get up there, you'll find better then you can make.
