Ok I hate this mech. It dosent fit clan doctrin and is a HUGE waste of c-bills. With out an omni package for the weapons this is going to get regulated to second line duty. Second line mechs will not get a XL engine.
When the craptacular mech 4 game came out it said "The Mad Cat MK2 was built because the original couldnt mount Jump Jets". And that load of garbage in its self should make it obvious this is just a marketing ploy.
So if someone can point out the rule that says that the Timber wolf cant mount JJ then I will eat my words. Till then this is a waste of clan resources. And a poor attempt at people that didnt read the universe to make an extra buck.

The idea of a heavy Mad Cat ala the Marauder II was a fine idea it did make some sense in the strange way of BT...but I agree when they stated it that the OMNI-MECH called the Timber Wolf couldn't mount jump jets shows that the folks who designed the game didn't do any research and it also show the lack of concern by the parent company that details like that are tossed to the wind and the fact that they let Micro$oft get away with it really tells who's pulling the strings.
But really what do we the fans know, after all we still by the products even when they are poorly drawn, written and produced...so maybe they are right we don't know anything.

Hey if they refluff it I will buy it. But till then the MK2 is a load of garbage and wont find its way into my mini collection. There are very few units I will shun. And the MK2 is number 1 on that list. Mech 4 is number 1a.

Well, let's just mark fluff from TRO 3067 as official and forget about some MiStake.

Maybe. It's still a crappy 'Mech, but at least it won't be a crappy, illogical 'Mech. Why does everyone give it such a high rating, anyways?
BTW: "MiStake" is the funniest single word I have ever encoutered! ::applauds Dragon::

Why? Look at what it packs and that it has more armor and can jump and it's bigger...maybe it's a compinsation factor.
