Not a bad mech. Not at all, but I find the TSM kinda strange. It is surely possible and I'd rather be with them then with out. Looks like they were added as an after thought but that's just my opinion. This is definitely one dangerous mech. Only suggestion I would make would be to give it ferro fibrous armor and use the extra tonnage for something else like another DHS, medium laser, TAG, C3, etc. But that's just my personal preference. Either way I like this design a lot. Good job.

It's good that you like the mech, since I actually botched it when submitting it here. That story can be found in my comments on SD's review.

FF armor would be nice, but it leaves me with exactly 0 critical slots. A mech with all guns in the arms could just drop the hands and/or lower arms, of course. The only problem is that I'd be improving on a design I didn't mean to design!

The C3 is probably the best suggestion here. So how about this?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This mech has seen only mock battles, but it served it's purpose. Two Brawlers teamed up with two Ballista BL-1T mechs took on a heavier lance and won. The design of the Brawler is
resilient enough that it can take a few hits, and
considering two of the enemy had Class 20 ACs... One Brawler survived to the end of the battle, gaining a kill. The other one was 'destroyed' after taking too many hits to
the head by MPLs.

Using concepts from the Reaver battlemech, the Brawler
is designed to get close and dirty with the enemy. The ER
Large Lasers are used while closing to Medium Laser
range. TSM was included for the express purpose of using
it, overheating with laser fire then going physical.
A sophisticated ECM suite plays havoc with many enemy systems nearby, thus protecting both the Brawler and it`s friends.

There were no variants planned. Sane military
commanders had suggested removing three Medium Lasers and adding three DHS. Seeing that the mech worked well in testing it was decided to keep it as specified.

Unfortunately a designs clerk played around with the design on his terminal and managed to displace some equipment, placing three medium lasers in each arm. Adding insult to injury the technicians never questioned the blueprints sent them, and thus two "variant" BR-1W Brawlers were in testing before the alarm went off. The project leader was ready to explode when the test pilots pointed out that the arm weapons seemed to charge slightly faster than before. It was determined that the clerk had managed to clean up a priority glitch in the controller while fooling around with settings.

The mech's designation was changed to 2W to reflect the smoother electrical transfer system. The clerk was promoted to a position where he doesn't have to use a computer. No one realized that the man now had underlings equipped with terminals...

Thus the 3W was designed as an improvement on the variant 1W. The arms were re-designed as flippable weapons pods, the armor remolded out of Ferro-Fibrous material and a precious C3 slave installed in the left torso. The technicians were prepared this time and asked for authorization before building a prototype. It was put on ice, although the design looks promising as the forward troublemaker in a C3 company.

You know what, I like this version a lot as well lol. Can't explain it, mistake or no mistake, but I really like this design. It's not the best or anything mind you, but it seems to have found a special place in my heart. Thanks for liking my comments. The C3 is most definitely a nice touch. If I ever got a hold of one of these variants, I would probably become obsessed with finding a C3 network for him lol.

Anyway glad you liked my comments and I second Ralgith's motion! Let's just kick the @$%#^ out of everyone!
