Being Protestant, I need no excuse to bash the Pope (good-naturedly, of course) but occasionally a reason is contrived.

Meh, as interesting as it is, it shouldn't make a difference to D&D, it being a FANTASY world and all.

My question is how you guys find all this crud.

Typical Catholic answer. If we dont like it, we change it.

That makes sense. Still, I wouldn't put it past them...

Actually there was a recent Papal commission that declared that Limbo was being changed in the official Catholic Canon law. I have to give props to the author of this 'report' for not only writing and incredibly funny page but also for keeping up with current events.

I am saddened however when I think of those poor schmucks out there who have trouble leaving their D&D sessions in the gaming room. They will read this article and think it is real.

Yup, but it makes me think what was changer over those two thousand (and some more) years and what once was included in original set of beliefs.

I think SD may have a good point there. It's hard to tell for sure, though.

Beliefs and rules/guidelines need to evolve with the times. I've mentioned this before, mostly in gun-related issues, but it holds true with religion, too. I mean, the way things are going these days, heaven's probably looking rather empty. I'm pretty sure I wont be going there, mostly becuase I don't worship that god, or any god for that matter.

Sorry, ranting again.

Actually, I bet the Pope just got tired of the Choatic characters messing with his character.

I know it tends to hack me off to no end.
