Any train buffs in the MI area know whether they cancelled this event or not? I haven't been able to get any event info on it this year.

Wasn't, I went, was fun

Only 4 layouts operational, and 2 sucked and 2 rocked

Also got to see a G scale live steam demo.

It was the new set for Thomas the Tank engine.

Though as a train buff myself (collect N Guage when I can). I love watching Thomas with my boys the sets are amazing.

The Thomas series is a very set. To bad my boys grew out it years ago. Now I no longer have a excuse to sit at the hobby shop for hours watching the trains
