Lately I've been wondering if any WWII German training films are floating around the net.
Not long ago I downloaded the WWII M1 Garand rifle training films. They were very detailed and useful to someone like me who is just getting into shooting old bolt action milsurp rifles. One whole film segment dealt only with the 4 shooting positions, with great attention to detail on where to put your elbow and why, etc. And another half hour segment detailed the use the the M1 rifle sling. (I went out and bought one of those slings to use on my Swiss K-31 rifle.)
Watching those films has made me interested is seeing how other countries did it. I wouldn't mind coming across some German films showing how to use a Mauser, MP-40 etc. Or British films that teach how to use their own small arms.
