I was just at the area TRU when I noted that they're collecting for Toys-For-Tots. It started on the 22nd of this month and will go until November 22nd.
For those that do not know, the US Marine Corps has a program known as Toys for Tots. People are asked to donate new, unwrapped toys and care items. At Christmas time, the locally donated items are gathered up and the under-privileged children who participate in this are allowed to pick out an item for themselves.
I myself donated a Transformers figure today, and I'll probably donate another one when I go back this Saturday.

That's not a bad program. Too bad we don't have something like that up here in Canada. I work at the local TRU, and I would probably donate something every pay. Probably not one of my precious Transformers though...
