==Overview:==

The Royalist came into being during a small civil war in the Gears Province of

the Landorf Protectorate.



The local govenor died in an explosion just after being re-elected to office,

then ensuing investiagtion reveladed that his chief reivale had order it, when

the local agents of the police went to arrest Walter Downs, his household

guard opened fire on the police, quicky Downs and his troops sized control of

the governors palace as well as key sites in the province. This left the local

miltias in an odd spot, so they delcared for the dead governor and attacked

Downs and his troops.



One of the supports of the dead governor was Harris Armaments, makers of the

Ice Bolt mech. Seeing that they could gain a lot from this minor incident they

rushed their new light mech right from the drawing board and into production.

In four months time they had a companies worth off of the assembly lines and

in the hands of the milita. Colonel Dargoson chrisen the mech the Royalist and

heartedly thanked Harris and his company for their support.



Eleven months later Downs and his troops are forced to surrender and Harris

Armaments had sold their mech to not only the Landorf military but to Vondor

military as well.



==Capabilities:==

The Royalist is an excellent raider or hit and run type of mech. It has more

then enough speed to out run most light and just about every medium and

heavier mechs on the battlefield.



The quad medium laser arry allows the mech to alway have it's firepower on

line and ready to go. No worries about ammo running out or blowing up.



While the armor is slightly under par for it's size, the amount of speed and

manuverbility the Royalist has makes up for this.
