I'm attempting to write an OR-type file to represent some new industries on a few planets.
One of these industries is a company that makes medical electronics; they've won a contract to re-fit a number of military vehicles as ambulances, and so technically they now count as a military hardware producer.
Would it be out of character for the Comstar guy writing such a report to wish them luck, even if it is a medical firm?

Actually, I should think Comstar would be more likely to view them favorably and wish them success given that they create medical supplies. So maybe I am misunderstanding somehow?

I dont know. I think they would given the neutral nature of all medical units. I though I remembered that even the Clans spared noncoms (or at least they should because killing them would be deemed as wasteful).
So No I dont think that would be out of character.

For the most part though the Smoke Jaguars had no probelms with targeting non-coms or civilians which is what led to the defection that gave the Exodus Road to the Inner Sphere.

Ecaxtly because it was wasteful and unclan like. I had a feeling that they were going to be targeted for absorbtion because of thier actions IF the IS hadnt invaded. It was only a matter of time.
