I thought these movies were really good. Each of the times I watched them I was put in a good mood. The Spy Next Door is very funny and stars Jackie Chan (near the end one girl drops a TV on an intruder).

I really loved the Last Starfighter. Another one I liked which people don't seem to understand is Enemy Mine. But I guess that's the sentimental side of me. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I own the Last Starfighter and regularly watch Enemy Mine. I own every Star Wars DVD.
A small part of me thinks it would be wicked if they did a Last Starfighter 2: The New Generation or maybe call it The Next Starfighter. Center the story on Alex and Maggie's Daughter and the families efforts within the Star League as it fights a constant war against its enemies beyond the collapsed frontier. Use a stereotypical daughter under pressure to follow in her legendary father's legacy and rebelling against that pressure. Desperate to know the planet her kind is from and feeling terribly alone in a setting that offers unintentional isolation. In the end, the daughter must reconcile her feelings of isolation, inadequacy, and love (she'd have to find a man on earth) in order to rise to defend the Star League once again. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Outland was different. A lot of the B movies of the 80s and early 90s were decent scifi in their own right...they filled the niche and in some ways were better then the box office movies. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato
