Description: |
In the year 2750, humanity was in the midst of a golden age. United under the interstellar government of the Star League, all mankind prospered and enjoyed an improved quality of life made possible by advances in technology, commerce, human rights, and the arts. Humanity had truly inherited the stars. But those same advances also carried a curse, for the engines of war from the Star League era possessed power unequalled in the Successor States today.
BattleTech Technical Readout: 2750 provides illustrations, statistics, and other vital information about the BattleMechs, AeroSpace Fighters, Tanks and Hovercrafts, Personal Equipment, and combat JumpShips of the Star League. |

The weapons mechs, vehicles and dropships in this book are in a class of their own really. At first glance they may not stand out. But in actual fact they are excellent mechs. A hybrid between tech level one and two. Most of the mechs also have a streamlined look and decent fluff to go with them. Firmly gluing them to the image of a brighter time.
All in all. A decent addition to your readouts. Especially (as before mentioned) if you wish to include Comstar forces. |

The original source for Warships; I personally always thought FASA made a mistake when they redesigned the Warship graphics for Battlespace; these designs look a lot cooler. Except for the rare Star League era campaign, most of the 'mechs and vehicles here will only appear with Comstar or Word of Blake. |

A good way for a starting player to bridge the gap between 3025 tech and 3050 tech. Essentially, this is the Gray Death Memory Core, with all the designs and equipment used by the Star League. The aerospace and warship designs are dated, but convertable to Battlespace rules. The mechs are always useful, even if they are out gunned by more modern designs. Togh to find, though, as this book isnt even printed anymore. But if you get the chance to add this to your collection, take it. |

O.K. This book is now long out of print. The section on Warships and Dropships is now useful only for fluff as the stats no longer match the rules and cannot even be converted .The aerospace fighters are also using outdated rules though it is possible to convert them to the newer rules. The updated rules for both can be found in later books. The other sections are still usefull and right now the mechs are still only found here, and only some of the vehicles have been printed in later books. If you still have this old book or find it for sale used somewhere it can still be useful |
