The firepower of the RAC is very impressive and the eleventh heat-sink finally gets use but it will be through its ammo real fast. Better use quadruple shots instead of full auto!
The lasers are useful for support and defense and the armor is strengthened.
No bad upgrade but not really good though. |

I'll give this upgrade average marks. I think after the Unseen mech plants had been removed from Time line the most produced mech became the Urbanmech in the whole IS.
This upgrade is slightly more lethal than the standard despite the fact it can double it with a proper quad shot. Course If you jam it you just lost the mech. So I rarely ever use the RAC in anything more than double tap mode.
The ER Medium is a nice upgrade, pulling this mech up past its older brethen as now it has a back up weapon to go with that autocannon.
But remember its a city garrison miltia mech, nothing more, nothing less. As it is too slow to play in the open field or in someone else's back yard. |

Apparently the Davions have too many RACs to spend so they just dump it on the Urbie.
That is not a bad thing really. Just pray that quad or hex shot volley fires and scores true, any jam will cost the Urbie dearly. |

I give this a three not because I am a fan of this aweful design, but because as a peice it actually represent a cheap peice of militia gear that could actually do well considering its slow nature. Never take this thing out of a city environment though. The pilot would be safer to jump out and run on his own two feet.
But it is still the walking trashcan mech. I would attack a place garrisoned by these just to try and salvage the RAC's. |
