Much better variant than the 3050 -3E. The twin ER-PPC just deserves DHS's! The LRM was upgraded too and was equipped with 50% more shots. The plethora of lasers can give any foe daring to close a bad day and two of them can even fire into the rear by the pilot flipping the mechs arms. Standard engine and CASE make it tougher than its predecessors. |

Stand on top a hill and fire away. Pretty simple for the IMP which is primary a long ranged mech.
This thing really needs rear arc facing weapons though, your enemies will be sending their lights all over to backstab this monster.
Downgrading the ER lasers for normal mediums as it helps elevates the heat this monster builds up. Then pull off 1 DHS and 2 small lasers for 2 rearward ER medium lasers which can keep those fast mechs at bay.

The imp 4e might make make a good sniper if you set him on a hill and let him wreak havok on the opposing force. the ersmalls should taken olut and replaced with another erm laser. |

Ya know, I would give this beast a higher rank, but I also know that its a deathtrap. Big mechs attract alot of attention, and that means alot of ordinance. When your opponent sees this thing, its going to be at the top of his Kill Now list.
Thankfully, it carries alot of armor, enough to survive two hits from a UAC 20.
Personally, Id pull the two ER smalls and replace them with an ER medium. Small lasers are not needed on this thing.
The ER PPC and LRMs make this thing a good stand off mech. Post him on a hilltop, and start sniping smaller mechs.
Dont expect to run away from everything, this beast aint built for speed. |
