This mech packs some serious firepower, but workhorse chassis shouldn't probably have XL engine, but it can be easily justified by added firepower. It can deal heavy damage at all ranges and thanks to it's heat sinks and heavy armor it can fight prolonged battles. |

Good mix of speed and punch, this mech can be a mean bugger at all ranges which is useful for a "Jack of All Trades".
The XL engine is used fairly well here although it can still be your death knell. Although the maxed armor is a good tradeoff, the side torsos could use more stuff to cover those expose crits.
This will make the mech tougher overall and have a reduced chance of blowing sky high due to ammo hits... |

Sorry, I'm just not seeing it. To upgrade the vunerable 3-4 million dollar house mechs they are going to spend roughly 9 million a mech. Multiplied by roughly at least a lance per regiment. Thats a lot of c-bills for a design that adds vulnerabilities for a bit more firepower.
I can't ever see this mech making it to 2nd line and garrison units as its tech base is hurting in 3067. Front line only is where this unit is pegged.
For believers in the grouped weapons fire system, this mech has a heat sink or two more than it needs and a lack of long range fire power to help out when the armour gets thin and its forced to dance to survive. |

The Jack of all Trades and the master of making the opponent pee in his pants.
Good mix of firepower, armour and electronics. No jump. But in this case, i'll forgive that.
There's precious little that's bad about it. |

This is a very good design. This one can do pretty much anything anywhere, and do it reasonably well. A lot of 'Mechs meant for general use seem somewhat mismatched, but everything comes together pretty well here. The LRM and ERLL for ranged work, the Streaks for up close, and the ER meds for pretty much everything. It does run a little warm, but that's a small thing, and easily controlled. All in all, a good companion for the beloved Enforcer. |
