Not only does this not seem to be a Liao like upgrade it is trying to use lots of expensive tech for minimal gain. It can fight at long range slightly better. Until it gets a hit on the ammo. Then dead mech case or no. It is oversinked for its weapons and in most cases will not touch on the limits of its heat capacity. Just not as tough as a vindi should be I think. |

Standard Vindicator was tough defender, but with XL engine it becomes expensive and vulnerable. Added firepower and speed are nice, but it transforms the workhorse to average racing horse. |

House Liao, would never put an XL engine in anything...
The lone exception is if they can find XL 40s for their Urbanmechs because they need to suck more.
I don't often see double heat sinks in house Liaos battlelines much either. Also CASE isn't something they have on a mech, because its expensive and hard to repair.
It'd be a good refit for anyother mech/house practically. But Liao has these weird quirks that make Old Dog appear to be normal. |

Doesn't an XL engine kind of go against the entire principal behind the Vindicator? The House of Liao could never afford to put something like this 'mech into mass production. |

A nice concept, and as usual, good fluff. However I would like to see more close in weapons, just 1 more MPL would be a great improvement. I personally might drop 2 of those DHS to make room for it, then slap in some TSM and rock someone's world. |
