Nice refit similar to PXH-3D and K. replacing AMS with additional armor is good idea as well as installing standard lasers and more heat sinks. |

The only thing that does make this Phoenix Hawk a perfect 5.0. Is one quibble I have with it. As you close your going to be running and firing two ER Larges most likely. Then in close you have no reason to pull an ER Large offline as those are standard Medium Lasers. If they were paired ER Mediums you could go 12+6+10 and generate no heat while doubling the old Phoenix Hawks in close punch.
Plus, if you wanted to kill heat and the range worked you could more easily do 1 ER Large, 1 ER Medium, full jump to cool quickly.
Other than that it excels everywhere the old PHX-1 did except hunting infantry and there are light mechs for that. |

This has very nice firepower, armor, and mobility. It's very hard to bring this sort of design down. |

Definitly sweet, people are gonna see you put a PHX on the board, then crap themselves when it opens up. I like. |

I like this Hawk. This really takes a great design and makes it even more evil. It still can overheat, but those double heat sinks really take the pressure off. This could easily jump and alpha for a few rounds in a row now without going up in smoke. This definately raised the bar for the line. |
