Panther was slow but durable and cheap mech. This may replace it in scout units, that can afford it, but it remains relatively slow and looses the durability of original design. |

The XL goes against the whole spirit of the Panther. Whatever toughness it had gets tossed out the window. |

This panther has nice firepower. But the sacrifice of the durability the older panthers with their Non XL engines.
This relegates the panther to 2nd line scout mech because of its increased fragileness. As opposed to the older variants who fought and won in medium/heavy mech companies.
An upgrade in the scout category, but a downgrade to everything that made the panther special. |

A fair upgrade to a design I never cared for in the past. This is a Panther I would use. Good heat dissipation, and firepower. Again I would have preferred streaking the SRM-4 over the larger rack, but it is still a good upgrade. |

Well this upgrade does address one problem of the Panther that is its low speed though the increase is marginal at best.Adding the Medium laser and upgrading the SRM rack address another problem the weak close-in fire power this helps especially since this mech is still slow.Better than the original but still lacks adequate speed |
